Welcome to Big Bites Tackle
Big Bites makes 2 aluminum fishing jigs. They both have a solid aluminum 3/4 inch body. One is 3 inches long at 1.75 ounces (pictured) and the other is 5 inches long and weighs 3 ounces. Like any jig the versatility of the lure depends on your imaginaton and execution. Great for jigging, casting and trolling. I made them to cast a mile fishing for stripers off the NJ coast. Big Bite jigs have caught fish coast to coast and the catches keep coming. Please enjoy the pictures as I update the site. It's about time, but a new computer and picture problems have finally been fixed, I hope! Latest phone calls and e-mails have been very good. Mr Kane wrote to let me know his go to lures outfished the boat on a recent bluefish trip (see pic). Mr Ken Chew caught a 48" 35 pound Striper on a black plug at sunbreak in ship Bottom on June 15 08. Capt Sal of Tunatime sport fishing in Mexico came on board and stocked his boat with big bites and has been catching all kinds of fish. Thank you all Big Bites jigs can be anodized any color but white. The hard anodizing and stainless steel hardware makes for one of the most durable jigs on the market. I hope you find my jig fills that void in your bag you have been missing. I exclusively used mambo minnows in the surf until those breaking baits were out of reach. Now I can flick the suds or throw past the outer bar. I take extreme pride in craftsmanship and details and the pictures do not do these lures justice.
